READY2RESPOND First Aid and Fire Training was started by Emergency Registered Nurse Tim Pickering, who has experience, knowledge and skills working in a major Emergency Department.
With a former background as an Aviation Firefighter in the Royal Australian Air Force as well as his current Emergency Nursing experience and skills, Tim has first-hand expertise in handling critical situations where every second counts.
Tim started READY2RESPOND First Aid and Fire Training with a goal to bring real-world experience to every training session and to use simulation scenarios to ensure you can practice what you've learnt..

3. How often do I need to renew my first aid certification?
CPR certification (HLTAID009) should be renewed every 12 months.
Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) is valid for 3 years, but CPR should still be refreshed annually.
4. How long do the courses take?
Course durations vary depending on the type of training. For example:
CPR courses: Approx. 2–3 hours
Provide First Aid: Approx. 6–8 hours
Advanced First Aid courses: 1–2 days
